Skype Made Overhaul Of Its Windows Applications

 

 

Microsoft is building Windows Universal Platform (UWP) application that will eventually integrate all Skype software features. It is claimed that it will eventually completely "destroy" desktop applications in favor of a universal. As Universal Windows Platform applications, the new Skype for Windows 10 can be adapted to different screen sizes and housing.

 

There is an effort to simplify the interface by removing duplicate menu and disorder, and the interface is much more touch-friendly. Currently, you can perform a standard one-on-one chat actions and send photos, but you can not do some things, such as, for example, management of the notification by the individual interviews, screen sharing, file and video messaging, group messaging and more .

 

 

However, all these mentioned features and many others should arrive in the next few releases. It is interesting that Skype already had a mobile-friendly version called Modern UI that is "killed" just before the release of Windows 10th

 

The application simply was not enough used. Things may now be completely different - Skype in order to overhaul their Windows applications and no longer back.
